Question by AlwaysLearning: What is the best way to install video conferencing for a conference room?
I have a old Victorian house (8000 sq. ft.) multiple office conversion that I would like to add video conferencing abilities the conference rooms, there will be 2 conferencing rooms, one on the third floor and one on the first floor. The one room is roughly 20 by 35 and the other is 16 by 25. Is a projector better than a LCD Displays, Is there a system that reasonable priced and offers enough features. Thank you.

I like LCD better. You need to decide if you’re going to put blackout drapes in the room as sun coming in the window will wash out your display. If you don’t want to pay for blackout drapes – then make sure whatever you choose it will be bright enough to see well with what light does come into the room. Second and perhaps more important is the sound system. Be sure to choose quality microphones that pick up sound well and transmit as much frequency as possible of peoples’ speech. You want to avoid losing the emotion/intonation as that is very important information. And get good speakers.
