Like, a phone with a little camera so you could see the person you were talking to, and vice versa. Not like a commercial system, like a very small, compact phone that could fit in your pocket. If it was priced at like, 0-0, and was totally revolutionary and made the iPhone look dumb, would you get one? I would! There would be issues of course, but it would be sweet. Thoughts and opinions?

My laptop already has a video conference utility. You just plug in the addresses and it does the rest. So there must be software available that allows you to do the same thing if you have installed an external camera.
Sorry I don’t know about phones, I know the newer ones show one picture, but the service costs extra with the phone company.
NO, I’m connected enough as it is. I don’t need to video conference on my phone while commuting or eating a buritto.
As I.Malbrue says, with something like ooVoo all you need is a webcam – plug into your laptop and download the ooVoo software for free, and you get professional quality video conferencing with up to 6 people for free. Sure, it’s not through a phone, but most people take their laptops everywhere now anyway, and you can use the software from anywhere as its on the net. I think it’ll herald in the real use of video conferencing by ‘the man on the street’, not just businesses, thanks to the quality.
