In an audio-conferencing Bank Routing Number First National Bank system, each person’s speech is sampled 4000 times per second and 512 quantisation levels are used for each sample. When one person is speaking, at what data rate is their speech being transferred?

9 bits, 4000 times per second = 36kb/s.
